Enjoy your dyno day! Will be interesting to compare the 2 C63 before and after dynos. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it Thursday :( Next time!

Btw superlubricity, I recognize your name from some of the M boards. You have a M5 as well right?

Bummer you can't make it. Would love to have heard that beast on the dyno. I still say you "call in" sick on Thursday.

Yep, that's me. I traded in the M5 on the C63. I was coming up to the end of my warranty and was looking for something new.

My first post here with a couple pics of my old BMWs -> https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...teel-grey.html

Tuned files are lock and loaded! I'll see you guys in a few.

Success!!! Many thanks to Wayne for setting this up, James for coming up here, and Carb Connection for accommodating us!!! James is a top notch guy and I would definitely recommend go through him if you need anything done! :y

The guys at Carb Connection are AWESOME, too! :)

Wayne will likely post the info later tonight... :)

In summary:
My car baselined at 372.46hp and 366.30 ft-lbs tq.
After the K1 tune: Max power was 429.14hp in 5th gear, but the tach was being funky and max torque couldn't be measured accurately. On one pull, the max torque was 419 ft-lbs, which is super inaccurate.

Wayne's car managed 377hp baseline and dyno'ed at Max 432HP and 395-ish ft-lbs. The charts will be posted later for exact numbers.

Andrey's CLS55 posted around 430rwhp STOCK!

Good day, overall!! :)

I had great time as well. Nice meeting everyone.

I'll post some photos, some graphs and a write-up tonight in a new thread.

I think you broke CarbConn's tach sensor. :rolf:

I had a blast as well, it was a pleasure to meet everyone of you guys. Bob get that IC pump fixed, and you'll be in the 470+ range.

Great group of guys up here in Seattle!

Have to say it was great to be there today. Great bunch of people, a big thanks to James, Wayne and the guys at Carb Connection. It was great hearing the beasts roar!
James knows his stuff so if anyone is thinking of any mods he is the man.
Pretty happy with my 432 Hp bone stock. I will have to do some serious thinking about mods now!
Thanks again to all.
Looking forward to seeing the dyno graphs here...

James,
Thanks for your help! The new pump will be ready for install tomorrow.
But the car won't be out of the body shop till next Friday ;-)

Then I'll be back to see what it will do

Great news BFB!

Let's get a second dyno day on the schedule and shoot for a Saturday or Sunday. I imagine we could get a much larger crowd out there on the weekend.

That would be awesome! The only way I wouldn't be able to make it on the weekend if I was out of town.

Although it's still very early, you guys should try to make it out to the Leavenworth drive in late June. It's mostly VWs, Audis, and BMWs, but driving in a huge caravan over the pass is always a blast!

It's on. Looks like at least four local C63s are down for another Dyno Day. I'd like to get 3-4 more.

How about the last weekend in February?
