Switching stock 18" to 19"
I'm looking into buying a set of the stock 19" rims that come on the european cars. Anyone know if I would have to replace the sensors?

fwiw, the car actually handles better with 18"
(edit: also people may not realize that the 18" stock rims are some of the better OEM wheels out there; made by Otto Fuchs.)

+1 friends C63 put his 18s back on, due to 19s making the ride a rough, and not as fun as 18s :-/

19"
I have the 19" Euro Wheels and love them. It does make the ride a little stiffer but I dont have the PP so it isnt too stiff for me. Handles better in my opinon. Looks 1000% better. Just remember potholes are not your friends with the 19". As for the sensors, the way our sensors work is my a rapid lose of pressure as a rolling mass. So there are no sensors to be replaced. This is my understanding of it, when I bought my new wheels, I did nothing with any sensors. Another member explained to me that the way the car monitors the tires pressure is when you set the tires pressure setting in the computer. The car calculates the rotation of each wheel/tire, it then knows when there is a rapid deflation because the wheel/tires isnt rotating as it was when you set the tire pressure. Anyway, as for my car, it works. No dummy lights, and it will warn me if a tire is low. Hope this help!
