Does anyone know what to expect with an ECU tune of the P31 package?
Have any of the M-B tuners looked at this engine yet? Does anyone know why it produces 30hp extra? The M-B website states that it has forged pistons (will they be noisey in the Great White North winters?), 'lightweight' connecting rods, revised crank and ECU.
I wonder how much is coming from the ECU, since I don't see how the pistons/rods/crank will increase power, without increased breathing at higher engine speeds (i.e. intake/head/exhaust work normally required).

The AMG site says "REVISED ECU" as part of the package as well.....that's a good contributor to 30 extra horses

Congrats on the car Matt. The red looks sick! You helped me out with questions a while back when I was shopping for mine. I ordered almost the same set up (APX, LSD, premium, obsidian) no CF cause I couldn't afford it haha. I ordered for mid May, but after seeing yours I want it now!
Also in one of your pics I noticed an SLR, that must be awesome to see a supercar like that. Here in Ottawa I have never seen those in the dealerships.

Performance package plus, Premium package, Rear view camera, metallic paint. Might of been carbon fiber trim in there too.
10k down, 60 month finance rate I think 3.9%. Taxes in. all other fees. the interest everything.

Thanks. Based on the web based configuration options, they only had two packages: P31, and the luxury. Otherwise, there was just the LSD and metallic paint.
Can anyone share their negotiated Canadian price (for a 2010 C63) vs. the corresponding list price? What are the incidentals (i.e. freight/PDI, gas guzzler?, air tax). I'm trying to get a good idea what to expect when I speak to the dealer tomorrow.
Can anyone recommend a good dealer in the GTA (i.e. greater Toronto), that will negotiate on a C63. I heard that there are no demos right now in the GTA.
Can anyone share their negotiated Canadian price (for a 2010 C63) vs. the corresponding list price? What are the incidentals (i.e. freight/PDI, gas guzzler?, air tax). I'm trying to get a good idea what to expect when I speak to the dealer tomorrow.
Can anyone recommend a good dealer in the GTA (i.e. greater Toronto), that will negotiate on a C63. I heard that there are no demos right now in the GTA
