I have the P30 package, and I was wondering what members that have KW V3 coilovers have noticed as far as ride quality (specifically how harsh / smooth the ride is compared to base P30 on city potholes, etc.).

Thanks!

if you are going to really get to the track with your car , buy the kw's . if not , then why don't you look at the h&r ? i have the h&r and they ride like oem . just my $.02

Did you go with the H&R springs for the ride or lowering (?) or performance? I'm looking to soften the suspension just a bit, so that's more the focus of my question

all of the above . the performance part was not the main objective but H&R is made to perform . i think the thing that did it for me was the price difference . i paid $1200 for the H&R's . i dont see paying $3000 for some coilovers unless i was at the track all the time . i have always been a big fan of H&R .

bad430 has the h&r coilovers...not the springs

+1...i went w/ h&r as well...theyre definitely firmer, but not bad at all...and once you get used to it, you'd never know the difference

A friend of mine has the KW's and he says while his car handles even better, it also rides smoother than stock P30...

I would be that friend...The V3s made the ride noticeably more compliant during daily driving while also improving the handling. It is a win - win as far as I'm concerned. I can also adjust the settings to be more agressive for the track vs more compliant for the street.

the H&R's also have the adjustments , but the KW's have more adjustments . i just don't hit the tracks like everyone else . i know my H&R's ride smoother than stock . if you plan on hitting the tracks a lot , it might be worth the extra money .

Do you know what is the highest setting you can use on the H&R? I just want to be certain I can raise it to stock heights for the winter...not to mention I probably would not want to lower more than .5" anyways. I know the KWs can be raised at least to stock height (if not higher) in other applications.

How and where do you make the adjustments to the KW product and what features can you adjust? How can it make the ride softer yet improve the handling at same time?? can anyone talk me through it in detail?
