We are a Varis dealer too (we use them for some BMW race car stuff). However, the pricing is much much higher than the Vorsteiner, FYI. I never thought that both Vorsteiner and Varis would make similar parts for the same car. I would recommend Vorsteiner due to cost and quickness to get.

This newly developed high tech composite production processes called dry vacuumed Woven plastic (DVWP) is to replace wetlay up Fiberglass and Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic materials.

DVWP is formed using a high compression vacuum process much like the dry carbon fiber production process, to produce multiple layers of air tight composite sheets that are impregnated and bonded with the resins to create a tight and strong chemical bond.

This dry vacuumed Woven plastic is advantageous in many ways to wet lay up fiberglass that typically has a much lower material density (measured by kilos per cubic decimeter) making it much heavier than the new DVWP parts.

DVWP also exhibits a higher heat tolerance enabling the material to retain its structural shape and design under high temperature environments and everyday driving conditions.

-Elimination of air bubbles and air pockets
-Reduction of parts warping and waving over time
-25-35% weight reduction over fiberglass wetlay up process
-Stiffer and more durable parts due to full impregnation and bonding of resins into composite layers
-Superior quality control and finish
This vacuum forming process is ultimately designed to allow the DVWP finished parts to maximize weight to strength ratios, offering superior stiffness and durability much like Vorsteiner's Dry Carbon Fiber Vacuumed Plastic.

Thank you for posting the price list!
I have a couple questions about the roof panel, I know it is probably too early to ask...
1) It doesn't have Sunroof, right?
2) Any estimates on weight savings?

Thank you in advance

We have already sold one to a customer, and we estimate the savings to be ~50lbs-52lbs.

Yes, it eliminates the sunroof.

thanks

Hey Kiddos,

Glad to hear everyone likes the parts so much. (Especially on my wide ***, lol, thanks Arius)...

My $.02 on this is all is that not only are the parts absolutely gorgeous, but there's an appreciable amount of downforce generated by the wing and diffuser at high speed. How high speed? Let's say... uhhm... very high and leave it at that. (It was at the track. In Mexico. On a holiday.) The rear end of the car feels so incredibly well planted and sure footed now. I didn't think the difference would be that apparent, but if you like driving at high speeds you'll definitely like the way these parts make the car handle. Wow. Just wow.

Have a safe and dry weekend,

Josh

Thanks for the quotes but $1,500 for a rear diffuser is simply not acceptable in my opinion.
Let the flames begin but just like ECU tunes, there are other vendors out there.
I agree that this diffuser is the best looking out there but until the vendor comes down to earth with its pricing, it is a no go as far as I am concerned

How about making it in DVWP to lower cost?

What exactly is involved in installing the roof panel? I am assuming the stock roof is welded and that the carbon piece would have to be bonded in place. Also, is there a replacement roof liner that does not have the cutout for the sunroof and gives more headroom?

Any photos of the front splitter?

Hey Guys,

Part of the reason there aren't official pictures of the parts yet is because my car is the devo car for the parts and has been unavailable for the photo shoot due to my transmission issues. I'm sorry about this and am doing my best to get the Dragon running again ASAP so you all can see just how awesome the parts really are.
