Picked up a few AMG emblems..

Got this at a car shop in Thailand. Not sure what they would fit in place of, but grabbed them anyways.

The one on the left looks like it might go on the center of the hood.

What does the tree in the logo symbolize? AMG tree huggers, or really like apples?

Since it did bother me a bit that MB doesn't really differentiate the C63 AMG interior from the reg. C-class (other than the small AMG symbol in the speedometer and of course, our incredible AMG leather seats), I decided to do a little searching for something.

Just bought a set of these and installed one (which is all I'll do). I didn't want big and tacky, so I found these. They seem fairly decent in quality (carbon fiber & chrome metal) and are also smaller than most of the other /////AMG emblems out there (only 4" x 1") and still relatively inexpensive.

Sorry, my pics form my BB phone aren't the best, but what do you guys think?

Not calling the OP a poser or anything but just curious: If you have a real AMG and fake badges do that make you a poser? This is the antithesis to the poser threads

Funny, but no, I don't think so. Interestingly enough, have you or anyone else really looked carefully at the 6.3AMG emblem that's on the side fenders of the C63 AMG? They look like chrome plastic garbage, and the "faux" non-oem 6.3AMG emblems from China are pretty much identical. I think they're so bad that I refused to buy one for $10 to put inside my car (beside the fact that it's just too large that it would look tacky, imho).

So, I went for a smaller, non-oem looking, carbon fiber/chrome metal /////AMG emblem to stick on my glove box. Looks decent, right?

Thanks for your honest input. I'll have to see if I get used to it or not. It's not a big at just 4" x 1" and so far, I like its placement off center just above the glove box handle/lock. IDK. IIRC, another MBW member placed a large "6.3AMG" emblem over the glove box on the dash where the passenger side airbag would deploy for a possible "6.3AMG" tattoo on the passenger's forehead. Sorry, but that just looked tacky, imho.

Just want to share that im actually quite the opposite, I usually strip my cars of all badges. I kinda like the clean un-cluttered, unassuming and most of all stealthy look. Thanks

I don't have a heavilly optioned vehicle and had this blank space between the seat heater buttons that really bothered me. I found this aluminum emblem on Ebay and stuck it on. The engraving quality is very nice and without any rough edges (all smooth).

My E63 is debadged, too. Debadging is popular in Europe but in the USA people really like badges, logos, and shiny things.
