1 mile event in Miami, March 14th...
#35
Anyone have any idea of how fast a stock C63 would go if the track were 1.5 miles? From what I've read, the 1 mile track would be insufficient to allow me to get to my limited top speed of 174 but venture to guess that 1.5 miles would be enough.

Follow-up question... I thought only P31 cars had the limiter raised to 175ish - was that an option on earlier C63's as well?
Just curiousity - TIA.

Nope, it's actually pretty un-intrusive. Once you are in the back seat. it's not bad. Just don't bang your head on the rear bars...OUCH.

I would like more detail of the supposedly "stock" M3 doing 181mph in a mile. That does not sound right. I do not even think modded C63 will reach that trap speed.
See you Sunday guys

The M3 in question is FAAAARRRRRR from stock. His car has been stroked, super charged, lighten, etc...... the list goes on and on. Not that some of the c's on here don't have alot of the same mods (well except for the supercharged part), but either way not even close to stock. The door handles might just be the only stock part left on the car. So with all that being said, and the (adverstied) 600 RWHP, not really all that impressive. When we get near that HP,,,,,,,, mid 190's.......DONE.

wow, after further review, the M3 (pencilgeek) in question is nothing more than a shell. No interior= full race car. Now I'm even less impressed.

2 more days. And i hear we might just have 1 more C going with us. Should be a great showing of C's this time around. Does anyone know if the RennTech guys are bringing their C???? I know Steve is registered in his CL, but don't see the C63 anywhere on the list.....

I'm thinking about heading out to the event tomorrow as well; will decide today.
I looked at the website but did not see the times for the event. Anyone know what time it starts & ends?
Also, how many runs is each car allowed/expected to make?
I'm checking the weather forecast....

Correct, track opens @ 8:45, and if it's anything like the event, you simply run and line back up. As many runs as you want. There's only 60ish cars registered, so you should be able to get a bunch of runs if you want.
On a side note, with all the C's coming to this one. I'd like to get some pics with all the cars together if we can.
