I use Leatherique exclusively on all my cars. It is the best product I have found. The process when using Leatherique products is the revers of most others, so make sure you do it correctly. Use the rejuvinator oil first to moisturize the leather and expel all the dirt and contaminents. Then clean off the surface with their Pristine Clean. The key to the Rejuvinator Oil is to apply it when the car can sit in the sun and bake. This really helps the oil penetrate the leather. You need to give the oil at least 8 hours to work, and if possible 24 - 30 is best. You will only need to do this twice a year if you do it correctly. Then just use Pristine Clean for your weekly/bi-weekly wipe downs.

I've never used the Connolly product, but have heard good things about it.

I think that most C63 are going to show some wear on the bolster.....just no way around this based upon the seat design. I have some light wear and am very careful getting in and out of the car. Leather conditioner helps. Enjoy!!

Unfortunately there is no way around. The leather seats will eventually wear and tear with time. I have seen a couple of solutions though, car seats(I don't recommend) and getting in and out of the car holding your weight on the frame/roof of the car and sliding your body in but even like that is a hassle.

I purchased a bottle from Mercedes dealer that cleand and recondition the leather but you need to get the idea of wear.

Seat setting 1 is for driving. I hit seat setting 3 before getting out and it pushes the seat most of the way back so I don't rub on getting out or getting back in.

we all pay a lot for the car, but its the engine and performance that i enjoy, these normal wear and tear thing, as long as it is not too ridiculous, i will not concern that much.

+1...This makes good sense as you can not avoid getting into the vehicle. Any friction with weight will always cause wear. Giving yourself extra space to reduce the amount of friction can only stave off the eventual negative effects of use. If protecting your investment in the seat area is important, then do the best using the most rejuvenating/protection product you can find. Even leather simply exposed to the elements will dry/crack over enough time without protection.

Not to hijack the point of the thread, but discussion/reviews on the best seat preserver/protector is probably what we all "really" want to know.

After 18 months and 13 000 miles, my seats look close to new.

rivets on your jeans???

I don't let anyone sit in my sahara beige C63 that has those nasty metal studs on their jeans or if I suspect they have dirty pants.

If they want they can look at it all they want but they ain't sitting in it.

Go into the instrument cluster menu, go Settings > Convenience > Easy Entry/Exit. Enable it. It will lift the steering wheel up, out of the way for ingress/egress.

Very nice! Is this there by default? I remember when going to see my car the steering was very high so the feature might already me on...

This helps, but unfortunately MB decided to make this less useful on the current C class as on my C32, this option also moved the seat all the way back and then returned it to your desired postion when starting the car.

It wasn't on by default for me. Also, I believe you need the AMG seating package because it needs the electric steering wheel adjustment.
