C63 GT PRO Double X Pipe

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about the Double X Pipe made by GT PRO. From what I have read, it removes the secondary cats and resonator. They replace them with 2 "X" pipes. Let me know. Thanks.

There are a few who can answer but if you'd like anything to be answered direct, I am at your disposal.

Why not x pipe for the resonator delete, then straight pipes for the sec cat delete?

For maximum advantage an X-pipe should be as far forward in the exhaust system as possible. The farther back the less efficient it is at scavenging exhaust from the cylinders and balancing the exhaust pulses. Theory as I understand it.

Yup, got mine on order from Brian at GT PRO...it does indeed remove the 2ndary cat and resonator....Basically, you get an x-pipe from the primary cat back through the 2ndary cat, and then a second x-pipe that goes from there back to the muffler, and replaces the resonator. Brian has a decent video of this on youtube (just goggle double x pipe), showing low/no drone with resonator gone, but some decent in cabin noise during what he calls "spirited driving"...

BREAK!

Brian, that is HARDLY spirited driving I would have loved to see you go WOT to rev-limit...not some 3-4K runs...I guess I'll have to wait my time and post my own Any word on the forward X-pipe yet?

I was looking at the MHP catback exhaust and I noticed that there is only 1 "X" pipe. What's the difference between the 2 exhaust systems other than the diameter of the piping? Which am I better off with? Like I mentioned before, I have the Kleemann K1 tune, K&N filters, and the charcoal filter delete. Thanks.

The general consensus at the moment is that the factory cat back is just fine coupled with our Single X or Double XX product, they work very well with the K1 and filters.
