Can't wait to see pics from both of you.
I'm crossing my fingers that the fitment is better than the JBSPEED version avengerboater installed. -> https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-diffuser.html

Per Bobby at Suvneer, it is a replacement of the OEM bumper. The only drilling required is 2 small holes on the carbon fiber diffuser on each side. This will allow for perfect fitment. The rest of the holes fit in the OEM body. Check out the DYI by dockt called "DIY: carbon fiber diffuser install". I will follow his instructions.

I'm a direct importer. You WILL get a good diffuser, sir or free exchange or full money back. Check out my other threads, all our customers are happy customers ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Guys always ask me to compare my products with JL's but I won't do it. We let our customers' feedbacks speak for our products![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

2009 C63 with Eurocharged tune and charcoal delete
anybody know how difficult it is to replace the stock diffusor with the CF one? Lots of stuff to take apart (like the whole rear bumber) or just a few simple fasteners?

Just curious, JL... Did you take these pictures originally? I am curious because I replaced my manufacturer's logo with mine and the location is different from yours. I am just confused how my manufacturer got your original picture before your trademark got there. I don't want my supplier giving out your picture to the public, this is the reason why I want to follow up with you. Last question... where did you take these pictures?

FWIW, the JL stuff looks great. James was great to work with and we were very happy with the quality and finish. So much so, that I couldn't imagine spending more on some of the other companies kits even though they may fit perfectly.
However, it was a $#!/&% to fit. Not an easy DIY because the tabs on the diffuser did not fit well to the factory bumper. Possible, yes. Difficult, yes. I really think that your average DIY would have it fitting like crap because they wouldn't want to spend the time to modify the piece to get it to fit flush against the bumper.

Yeah, I'm going to give it a whirl with my neighbor, who does a lot of body work...if we can't get it, I'll have to take it somewhere...that will be a sucky drive with no diffuser...I'll have to just keep smoking the tires so nobody can see the back end

Ditto on the tabs being too big to fit into the holes on the bumper. I had to file about 4 or 5 of mine down just so it would begin to fit. This was a diffuser from JBSpeed, which was also made in China, or Taiwan.

I would love any advice as well as mine should arrive next week.
Avengerboater: what did you mean by "file" in your posts above.
In the link of the DYI, the OP states he uses grease for the tabs? Does he mean elbow grease or real grease? if real grease, what kind?
Any feedback would be appreciated as I do not want to be in a position where I tried too hard and break a piece of the diffuser.

What I meant by "file" was going to a hardware store and buying a metal file to file down the tabs so they would fit into the bumper. The diffuser that I got had half of its tabs be too "fat" to even begin to fit into the OEM slots on the bumper. Even after greasing them, there was no way the tabs could be forced into the slots. I had to file off a few mm to make the tabs "thinner" so it would go into the slots. The one that I had was from JBSpeed, which was also made in China.

You can't use the stock tabs because the stock tabs are connected to (on) the stock diffuser. The tabs cannot be separated from the diffuser, it's like breaking off a piece of the product. No go.

I was afraid of this...not surprised, but more so disappointed. Hence, the reason why I'll be getting the Revozport diffuser with ground effects. I figured I've already wasted $300 on a crappy diffuser, I might as well learn my lesson and get a high quality one the second time around. Lesson learned.

^^^Cool, thanks...so let me get this. Somebody markets ****ty products on here (mutliple times, as this isn't the only product Suvneer is pushing), and there is no way to block them? How can the moderators let a sponsor continue to market bad parts?
