Was at a strip mall, when I overheard 2 guys talking near my car:

I was at an autocross event where the instructor drives the first lap to show you the course, after one lap he turns to me and goes, "Would you mind if I do another?" Then after the session he gets out of the car and says, "I think I am going to have to start rooting for Lewis Hamilton now."

On Saturday I was going downtown and a CTS-V was beside me as I was in the left turning lane. He rolls down his window and says good thing there isnt two lanes otherwise Id show you how slow your C class is! (He then revved his engine). I revved mine back and it was MUCH louder at which point he looks over and I shout back "Lets see who makes it to that lane first!" - I turned left though while he screamed "No Thanks" and rolled up his window. Just the sound scared him off!

Depending on the performance mods to your car, that might be a tough one to call. The CTS-V is up on power, but also weight.

That's funny. I think most people have the exact same sentiments about M3 owners...and not just rival MB owners.

me too.... well minus the businessmen driving M3... but definitely alot of spoiled rich kids at least where I live



as for my earlier post... he would pit his pontiac sunfire(stock) against me. I think I would need to run on just 3 tires to make it interesting.

****** 1: I cant find the alignment settings for an AMG
****** 2: Just use the standard ones, its only a C class with a fancy engine anyway

I went to a GM Dealer today before lunch to pick up a trunk liner for the new Chevy Trax we bought as a company car. Drove my C63 and parked in the parking lot. On my way out Im loading the mat into my trunk and this random guy says to me "I bet you wish you drove a camaro and not a mercedes! Those crappy things are only meant to be driven by women and gayboys" -yes he said gayboys hahaha

I laughed got in my car left the door open while I started it up only to see him turn around as he was walking away. I smirked and backed out of my spot at which point he could see that the car is completely blacked out and the red brake calipers with massive rotors. I gave him a nice little rev as I pulled away passed him. He probably swore under his breath, oh well!

If someone asks me what is an AMG, I don't bother telling it to them. Its actually a waste of time.

Also, I had someone at work ask me : Whats that big red thing in your tires? (Didn't even say calipers / brakes / wheels) I told him, its a performance braking system. He was still upset as to why did it have to be so big..

When I drive my car with all the windows open, I mostly get these "I want to fukk you" look from miami *****... I'm not sure if it's because I'm good looking or because I'm driving a nice car... but does it really matter?

I drove my car to work last week a couple of days. Finally enjoying it on the street a little. One of the days I was going to lunch and stopped at a light where there is construction going on. One of the construction guys yells out, "Is that one of those new Scions"? I had the windows down and I actually didn't have a response. I thought he was kidding but he was serious. My son yelled back its a Mercedes and the look on his face was priceless. The light turned green and I just drove off laughing and thinking its been called a lot of things but a Scion wasn't on the list until now.

I had a pretty brunette driving a baby blue Porsche turbo s pull next to me the same day I pulled my car out of its winter sleep. She mumbled something about her ex husband's junk that I didn't understand. Than in a blink of an eye, she was a 1/4 mile down the road. Very ballsy move considering the radar infested area i live in. Funniest thing was her plates read "WUZ HIZ"

Not sure how I missed this thread. Pretty funny. Two that stand out for me:
at a car show, "It's just a C-Class , fake AMG" So I opened the hood for the dude
Truck guy "That has a 6.3L in it?" me yes it does. Him "You could tow a house with that think"

this one kid in an m3 E92 "your license plates says BYBYE M3, ill bye bye you in your amg" we race I smoke him his response "fast car bro" and takes off
Im putting gas into my car this one guy says to me "dude I want your job" I reply "trust me you dont, I do some very shady stuff" :P
Since I'm 21 some people I know try to make fun of me by saying "oh did your daddy buy you a new car how nice, or I see you take out your dads car for a drive" lol I hate when people judge without knowing your story...
This one girl on the street driving a camry told me "your moms mercedes is nice" and replied "Its better than your dads camry"
