Another alignment question
Greetings,
I have an 09 C63 amg that comes with stock 18" rims. I put 19" rims and new tires on the car. If I hold the steering wheel in the center, the car tracks straight. However, if I let go, the steering wheel turns to the drivers' side and the car tracks left. The tracking seems consistent with the angle that the steering wheel turns.
I've eliminated the following possibilities:
1. Alignment is correct on 18" wheels
2. The 19" wheels are properly balanced and equal pressure
2. The 19" wheels have each been tested for run out, road force, etc... All the wheels are within specifications
Do you need to change the alignment if you put 19" wheels on? The overall tire size is equivalent to the factory 18".
Any ideas appreciated...
Thanks

Why would it be good on one set of wheels and not the other???
I suspect there is a problem with the 19" wheels or the tires may accentuate the alignment settings. Since you have had the wheels and tires tested for run out and road force it might be a good idea to get the alignment checked.
