Those video's really show the difference.....

The problem is an open diff is that all the rotational energy is guided to the side with the least resistance. In the end, that side spins very fast and the pressure on each drive gear is the same.. Almost no torque is needed to spin one wheel, and since the open diff always sends the same amount of torque to both output shafts, almost no torque is going to the other side as well. You can really see that in the video as the torque shifts from one wheel to another instead of being sent to both.

This would be the case in a launch as well, as often times 1 wheel will hook harder than the other because of road/track conditions and even differences in rear tire traction.

I don't know if lsd is an advantage for pealing out. i had a SLK55 without Lsd and it would peal out easy. I can't make my c63 peal our no matter how hard i jump on the pedal. it goes hard just no smoke no squeal.

Something is wrong with your car. A c63 stock with dragradias and LSD will spin the tire from a standstill.
