Yes I have stock suspension height.
I’ve been occupied with other things for a while but when I get my second wind, I’ll again turn my attention back to this car. A drop in ride height is part of the plan.
How do you find the 20” HRE’s for fit?
My rears are 20x10 with 285/25 tyres and I had to do some modifications to ensure they don’t rub on the fender. Do you have any problems?
I'll also add, you have some beautiful cars and great taste.

I doubt it. Stock diameter is 25" in the back. Your setup will be 26.7", so an extra 1.7" plus an extra 30mm(1.2") on the width. You're almost certain to rub..

I don't think he was trying to mask anything at all. Just trying to have a conversation about the fact that its quite UNCOMMON, not IMPOSSIBLE, for a very young person to afford a very expensive car. It is what it is.
For those who are young and rich, its all good. Everyone gets the short end of the stick some how, at some point. Thats just life. People are blessed in all different ways. No one has it perfect. Just look deeper. Everyone is allowed to make a statement or opinion. Its not considered as a jab.
Hope THAT helps.![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

How about "nice cars dude!" without looking for the lie or the fault or the hole in the guys life? Geez.
Alright alright off my soapbox, just annoying seeing people trying to bring others down...over the internet especially.
Cheers.

The 20x9.5 should not be a problem, if the offset is right. You’ve got a ½ inch less than I did to worry about.
Do you know the offset?
The car in the photo from Wheels Boutique would have had the rear fender lips rolled as a minimum to get a drop that low. And as Even Money has pointed out, the larger rolling diameter on 285/30/20’s would have caused big problems at the rear, the 285/25/20 is a far better bet.
I'm bias and think they are a nice rim, I hope it works out well for you.
I agree they are awesome and also a big seller over here.
The comfort of a 2 door sedan (the SS is the performance model and the V in the Commodore model code signifies the luxury variant) with plenty of room in the rear for items plus they are light and quick. Here there are also lots of performance and visual mods available plus a good range of just bolt-on supercharger and twin turbo kits on the market to choose from.
It must have hurt when you sold your ’69 SS Camaro. I’ve always had problems selling cars as the sentimental value holds me tight and still have some of my old stuff from years back in storage.

The guy posts pictures of his car and in every reply there is a doubt or a knock along with a "nice car but..."...first its that he doesnt have them. Then its established he does. Then its that he only has them because of daddys money. Leave well enough alone and move on...judging by your "everyone gets the short end of the stick in some way" youre trying to justify a little pent up jealousy too.

I know we all think very highly of our MB's cars and feel very good about buying them. But in the end its a 60K car. When someone poses a question in a forum such as this and in this car class one doesnt expect someone to say "Hey! along with my 60K car, I also drive 2 Million in exotics!"
Im not masking any insults with kindness Rory. I tell it like it is. Maybe thats your style. I was simply point out my suspision. Im sure I wasnt along in thinking it.
As far as my financial situation im not ashamed at all. I am very happy being exactly where I am. I am blessed to afford the cars I do and to be able to support the hobbies I have. I have friends who make 20 mil a year and drive a Toyota. They dont care about cars. Its a point a to point b device. I also have friends who spend it all. To each their own. This was never about counting other peoples money, only the truth having it.
and ill say it again... Nice Cars! I am envious over 2 of them.

Guys, Can we just talk about cars? I have been to many fora and I must say this is by far the most colorful but not in a good way. I wish the mods could be a little more active!. The question if I remember was what else one drives. If we like what is posted lets say so, if we dont we can say it too. but if you doubt it and its all speculative then why not just not comment? We dont loose anything. If the poster is a fake its his loss. If his real and we cast our doubt on him does it make him any lesser? if one is right in his hunch about the poster it makes him no lesser or better either?
Cheers guys lets get back to the topic at hand. tnx

Kamusta MNL ICE, aside from a M3 what else would be on your short list for a DD? Over here as you probably know an SUV is a more suitable DD, over there its not really the case

Sorry to send it astray.
For the record though the mods on this site are excellent. They dont mind spirited arguements at all. Ive been to many many forums and this by far has the best users and the most mature arguments and conversations of any ive been on to date.

MNL ICE There is a lot to be said about the potential savings for using diesel fuelled rides over here, but for me , the annual savings of about 1 to 1.5K USD a year although not chomp change, given the stop and go traffic and the extra vibration and noise that the diesel fuelled cars emit plus the premium in price you pay for the car in the first place isn’t always justified.
Propain all the best man, I agree with and appreciate healthy discourse but the threads on C63V722, the crazy night and a few others went waaaay overboard IMHO
oh well onwards and forwards I guess......
