GREAT Event for SoCal Owners
Hey all-
This is an event that I've been participating in for the last 3 years now, and it is an absolute BLAST. The Targa Trophy has evolved from a single point-to-point rally into a 3 rally series that spans the length of California, and now even Arizona!
The first event will be on June 25/June 26 and will run between Los Angeles and San diego. W Hotels are the hosting venues, and I can assure you, the parties and dinners, etc. will be FANTASTIC. This is undoubtedly the most exciting event of the year for me (although I'm yet to do an AMG Driving Academy day; Laguna Seca, here I come...).
I encourage you all to check out the website below. Even if you do not wish to participate in the rally, there will be room for you to come bring out your car and put it on display at the rally start at The W Hotel and Condos in Hollywood. (There is a chance that Argyle Blvd. will be shut down at Hollywood Blvd. for the rally start)

Vehicles - Targa Trophy is open to all makes of exotic and specialty
sports cars including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Spyker, Mercedes
AMG, BMW M, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Audi, Lotus, Viper,
Corvette, select European & Japanese imports, classic exotics, muscle
cars and unique one-off sports cars.
Checkpoint Stops - Undisclosed stops in between Los Angeles, Orange
County & San Diego
Host Hotels - W Hollywood & W San Diego
Rally Event Entry Fee - $895 Includes
----
- Entry fee covers driver and navigator
- Team registration private event at W Hollywood Friday night
- Targa Trophy Event #1 pre party exclusively at Drais rooftop W Hollywood
- Massive rally start & car/vendor display open to the public at W
Hollywood 7am til 12noon
- Custom car signage scheme for event cars
- Special edition Targa Trophy event T-Shirts & accessories
- Sponsor giveaways
- Team gift bags
- Gourmet Breakfast at W Hollywood
- Finale dinner/awards ceremony at W San Diego
- $30,000 in prizes + trophies to be distributed between the top 7 finishers
- Points towards the Targa Trophy Triple Crown Championship series standings
- Exclusive after party for rally drivers, sponsors, media, friends &

I assure you, this event is FAR from "lame." Ripping down some of the State's most flawless roads flanked by the world's most expensive cars only to be followed up with a delicious dinner and massive afterparty at Hollywood's newest rooftop club?
