steering shaft
so yesterday i was driving and as i was about to make a lane change to the right lane some lady came by and hit my wheel.
there is no physical damage to my car but my front right wheel wont turn, and wen i looked at it there is a snapped rod that connects to the wheel.
im guessing its the steering shaft.
how much does it cost to fix?
and should i take it to a mercedes dealership or to a body shop to get it fixed??

I don't get it - if she hit your car, it's her insurance that will cover the damage. Why would you pay for the repair with your own cash instead or her ?

If he doesn't go tho insurance and she just pays out of pocket then there is no clam reported to carfax and no one is the wiser when its time to get rid of the car.
P.S. I'm no mechanic but it also sounds like the control arm.

from her car i know she doesnt have a good financial standing, and i dont rlly want to cause her problems, so i agreed to her paying half my bill.
now if the cost is too high i will go to insurance.

If she hit the wheel with enough force to break one of the tie rod ends, you've probably got bigger problems (bent rim, steering knuckle, damaged hub, etc). You're also going to need an alignment - definitely visit your dealer.
