Uh oh.
So I had nothing to do today, and I thought, hey, why not go and test drive an M3 (thinking I would feel soooooo good about my car afterward). Well, funny story - EVERYTHING that annoys me about our cars (nav, POIs, suspension [only sometimes], etc.) was how I thought it should be on the M3. Now, I was raised in an MB, hate BMWs as a rule, but oh my... That car was nice, nigh amazing. Except the M3 could not touch that beautiful roar we enjoy everyday. But I say again, uh oh...

the M3 have better interior quality and nav than our cars but its not as fast as our cars. I was going to buy one before the c63 but it wasn't that fast as i wanted in a car.

The M3 is a great car too. You can't lose with either. I prefer the look of my C63 in sedan form, which I need with my kids. If I didn't, the M3 coupe would probably be my choice.

If the M3 would come like the pictures above, I would be sold. This looks hot ala black series.
The awesome thing behind the Dinan package -----> full bumper to bumper warranty by Manufacturer. Mercedes need to have something like this with Brabus or other aftermarket tuner.
I wonder what the price of the Dinan package is. Anyone?

It is a sweet ride (the M3 in general that is). I like some of the styling better, and I THOUGHT the Nav was better until my buddy couldn't even show me how it worked (it was having some weird glitch).
Anyway, got to run him on the highway last night 3 times...granted, I have an ECU tune + Exhaust and he is stock...but it was silly how bad I beat him. In fact, on 2d/3rd roll, I let him pull about a car length and THEN hit it...from 60-80 I had already made the car length up and then just stomped him.
He actually said he couldn't believe how much faster it was.
Anyway, speed isn't everything, and the M3 sure is a beaut!!

Test drove new M3 twice w/ DCT and w/ manual. Coming from the E46 there was not much noticeable difference. The new M3 was a big disappointment IMO, I was expecting so much more from a V8.
I never even test drove the C63 (bought one of the first 09's). I just knew that I if I bought the M3 I would be envious of all the C63 drivers with all the torque and ohhh the sound. I never looked back and would make the same decision all over again.

Ya, I found that problem too. They wouldn't discount it even when I offered cash. I also find that the sales represenative at all BMW perceives customers the way how they dress. I didn't want the IS-F because there's no way I would get to 8th gear and I didn't want the S5 because their rotors, brakes, and hp can't compare to C63. I find the people working at Downtown Toronto Mercedes is the most professional and they take care of you.
