Dipstick's dipstick
Well after 300 miles I figure its time to check the oil, based upon many of you discussing oil consumption. Well lo and behold the dipstick does not match the picture in the manual...and you gotta RTFM..So WTF is up with this? I do a search on the forum and yup, many of you have declared the dipstick does not match the one in the manual.. One would think by MY 2010 MB would have gotten this staightened out. Anyway, my oil is above the middle red thing. Thank god for this forum.. I would not have slept til the Dealer opened on monday.
On a better note this car has got some serious cahonees, and I am still taking it somewhat easy regarding approaching anywhere near redline. Maxing at 5000 so far.
