brake sensors

Do you guys change pads when brake sensors are activated or before the warning sign comes up?

the reason I'm asking is my brake squeaks really loud now, and you could feel that the brake isn't effective as before

Doesn't the sensor trigger the light to go on?

They getting pretty thin by the time the sensor comes on.

I would like to try some of that EBC Bluestuff pads on our next change; believe they haven't released it yet for our vehicles.

I'd say do a brake fluid flush if you've done 3 track events. You might have boiled the stock fluid.

They still have a decent ammount of pad left after the sensor is tripped. Proabaly around 1/8 of an inch or so.

Stay away from EBC pads, they're terrible.
