Navi screen wont flip up sometimes
Once in a while when I turn the car on the navi screen doesn't flip up and I can't play anything on the radio through the steering wheel either. If I turned the car off and let it sit for an hour it works again. Any idea what could be wrong?
On a side note, played with a blue Tesla Roadster today, very nice car

Does it happen after you turn off the Command manually? (press the ON button)
I think it's like this: when you press the ON button (turn off the command) and turn off your car afterwards, the car saves that info and does not open the command when you start it again.
It's a bit complicated what I wrote here but hope you get what I'm saying. I'm a little hangover and my head is exploding

From what I have been reading it may correct itself after the car has been off for a while and then restarted. Also I read a couple of posts that the poster reset the fuse (remove, clean contacts and reinsert) and that has fixed the issue. I had this problem with the Command in our R-Class and resetting the fuse got it working again and it never reoccurred. There may be more than one fuse in the Command/Nave/Radio system and I think in the R the big fuse in the rear panel did the job. I tried them all one at a time till it corrected itself. GL

***UPDATE***
Problem solved itself the next day. Very high humidity was maybe causing some issues with electrical components or fuses.
