Question: Gas milage
Especially when I am in a tunnel.. open windows.. jam pedal... listen to the music...
appreciate the help!
of us.
Anyway, 360km for 2 fillups means a refil at 180km...which is about 110miles...I'd argue that even if he is filling up when the "Reserve" light comes on, he is still not getting the mileage he should. That means on 11-12gallons, he is getting less than 10mpg...Unless he is crawling around town at 15 mph, or is constantly rubbing the pedal, he should be getting about 13-14mpg, which means, 140miles or 230km per fillup.
I'd monitor for another tank...if you can't get above about 550km on this next tank, I'd have her checked. Even low tire pressure and running A/C wouldn't lower you that much.
Was this car previously owned? If so, hope it is CPOd.
Best I have had is 235miles on a long run
after everyone's kind feedbacks it seems like I was just a bit sensitive before
I am getting around 20L per and mileage is getting better...getting around mid to high 200s now (I have approx 700km on the car now)Thank you for everyone's comments!

P.S. this forum has it's bad side...I have already ordered some CF parts...will post pictures when installed in a few weeks after my business trip!

Just picked up my baby last thursday..but 1 quick question!!
On my odometer it says I have travelled 360KM since..but I starting my 3rd tank of gas!!! I know the gas tank is relatively smaller (I came from a CLS500), but I have been getting gas basically every other day! And yes total KM travelled from this morning is 360KM!
I know this car is a gas machine, but just want to make sure if it is THIS hungry!
Please chime in!
Thanks
I get about 300-350km on a full tank.

With a full tank, I'm happy if I get 300 miles out of a full tank after combined street/hwy driving. On a recent trip from LA to Vegas (night driving), I got a good 20+ mpg the entire way there.
Some of the forum members mentioned changing air filters to K&N and removing charcoal filters adding an additional 1 mpg. I'm going to do that this weekend and report back in a week.

Gas mileage is not this cars strong suite, unless you own major stock in an oil company
I just did a road trip this weekend (2000km) and on the way to my destination I averaged 11.4L/100 (sitting on 120km/h), then on the way back which was more winding country roads and also involved climbing up to higher elevations (up to 1km above sea level), I got 12.8l/100, and that was averaging 150km/h with occasional bursts to 200+ AND some winding road which involved manual mode and ESP off.
The cost of refinement varies based on which country your in, labour costs, etc etc, not to mention that EU taxes on fuel are significantly higher then the US.
My bet, is that when you remove taxes, and get down to the base cost for similar process to create the fuel, the costs will be somewhat similar.
