The Snell 2010 should be coming out this fall. By then, the Snell 2000 would be outdated and only SA2005 and up would qualify.

Will definitely be interested to hear when the track rental occurs. I should be available regardless of the time of week. This would simply be for drag strip though, right? No option for road coarse?

Speaking of a local lapping day, upcoming dates @ Pacific Raceways are:

Sept 1st - Alfa Romeo Club
Sept 3rd - Porsche Club
Sept 16th - BMW Club

And for first timers at Pacific Raceways it looks like you have to attend one of their driving clinics before going to one of these lapping days. Of course you need to be a member with one of the clubs, I think the Porsche or BMW club being the most active. But membership is only $40 a year or something like that.

Btw super, do you have an ETA yet for the MHP LT's? Who do you plan to have do the install?
