Help!! Rubbing issues on 285/25/20
I am using 20x9.5 +50 285/25/20 Michelin PS2 on the rear.
The car is rubbing like crazy on the right hand size. Left rear has much less issues. I cannot find someone who is competent enough to roll the fender for me. I was told it is not only the problem of the rear fender but the rear bumper is hitting also. Do you think the problem would go away if I change the rear tyres to 275/25/20?

The shop has to figure out where you're rubbing...they can generally tell just by looking inside to see where the tire marks are. The other thing is we have no rear fender to roll. Last thing, I think you might need to get 275/20/20 or try 285/20/20. I wish I can tell you what's on my car, but I clearly don't remember, and my car is at the shop.

michelin ps2 are wider tires than most brands. Try toyo tr1 or vredestein in the same size, they have a round shoulder.
Btw, jae duk, what size rears are you running in the rears?

Tires are 275/xx/20
xx could be between 20-30 (don't remember and the car is at the shop)

Honestly I say it's too much trouble if it's possible (I don't know if it is possible). If it was me I would sell the tires since they're brand new, then just go buy rear ones that will fit.

My shop told me that our rear camber is non adjustable. What I did was shave 2 mm's off the inside face of my rims which helped. I also repositioned the fender liner. If you look closely your tires are rubbing the back inside of the finder liner. On the driver side I also shave a few mm's off the mounting bolt on the fuel line bracket because when you raise the car on the hoist the tire rubs it as well.
I am running HRE 20X10 and 20x8.5 Michelin PS2's 285/25 245/35
No rubbing at all now. Just takes a bit of work.
If you shave the rim dont forget to cut the wheel bolts accordingly too as they will be too long.

I am running 20x9.5, not 20x10. Do you think i dont need to shave 2mm's off inside of the rims?
BTW, did you have your fender and rear bumper rolling?

Im sure it would help. There is really no fender to roll on C63's. Go out and look at it for yourself. Its much diferent then bmw or other car's. Also the paint will crack if you roll it because the area is just too thin.

they sould pay for 275 tires and if it doesn't worlk out put some new 19 inch wheels with some 275s. At THEIR expense obviously.
Don't go bending, rolling, cutting this or that. just put wheels and tires that fit IMO

If they said it would not rub and It does obviously, have them take care of their mess.

Time to step down to 275s. It was a pain in the *** to get tires. I went with Falken. If you want to wait until next Thursday/Friday I can post exact tire measurements etc.
Honestly I asked the shop, can I get 285 after I put on 275. They say no way in hell will 285s fit.
