Full wrap is ~$3.5k for a complete car in matte black.
I have pelican cases to travel with my rolls of vinyl and tools as well

This would be sick. I'm seriously thinking of doing some matte black work on my ride. Do you think it would be a cool contrast with regular black paint?
Obviously, depends where you put it, but I was thinking about the chrome trim on the side of the car (around the windows), also the grill (but leave the star chrome/or shiney), and maybe roof?
Edit: After looking at the picture of the black C63 with the tinted tails, I want that done to my car as well.
I'm in Socal, have you guys decided a day to do the GB? Please make it a Sunday? haha

I'd probably only need to be there for the weekend, if it's just tails and window trim, for about 10 cars.
And then we have 3 cars
1. Propane
2. PetroC55
3. Obsidian05e55

If I bought you a plane ticket to come to my town in Oregon and do a full-wrap on my car, would you do it? And how much would you charge? Forgive me for sounding ridiculous, I am curious though.

The only reason I ask is because I'm truly torn with this car between Arctic White and Mars Red, and I figure if I buy a Mars Red car now I can always have it wrapped a few years down the road when I want to change colors, however I can't see wrapping a car in a matte red and I'm afraid glossy red vinyl would look weird and scratch easily. Don, can you chime in on this?

I personally like matte white, and will be doing matte white on my next car. I don't usually recommend gloss finishes for vinyl wraps, because it just doesn't have the same effect/glossiness as paint.
It's not so much of an issue when it's done/used on roofs, since the angle of reflection makes the appearance of it to be glossier naturally. If a paint job was 100%, I would say a gloss vinyl wrap would be 90% in appearance to a paint job, if that makes sense.
Gloss does show scratches easier, but it doesn't necessarily scratch easier, since they're the same material but just with different finishes. The same is true for painted matte cars vs gloss cars. It's like comparing a white to a black car. The black car will naturally show more scratches, even though they have the same amount of scratches/swirls/etc.

Vinyl wrapped the rear trunk on this Subaru with the 3M Di-Noc carbon fiber material. Took a before picture of the trunk with the holes and the after once the trunk was wrapped. Note, it may or may not show up in the pictures, but there will still be slight impressions of the holes where the vinyl is covering over.
Hopefully these pictures will answer many people's questions of how well vinyl covers holes that I've been asked.

I've had people ask if I can vinyl wrap hard tops and just how flexible my vinyl is...
