long shot but ... how many C63s available last summer?

looking to buy a new C63 ... wondering if i should hold out to see if there are incentives again like last summer or buy now at ~7k off msrp.

trying to gauge how likely it will happen again by the number of new/2010 C63s available. looking at autotrader and cars.com ... seems that there are ~250. seem high?

anyone remember how many there were last year when they started the 7500 dealer incentive?

thanks

Keep in mind the market conditions going into last summer as well - nothing high end was really selling as well as expected

The economy was worse last year (according to the news). Does anyone know if they scaled back production for 2010 models?

Bingo..

Huge economy slump last year. Cash for clunkers ect...

The market is back up and recovering. Also im sure dealers were careful not to over stock cars this year just in case.

I would bet you wont see the same deals as last summer this year. You will however get the best deal on any car at the end of the summer rather than before the summer.

My hunch is that you will not see the deals that were around last summer (ie: the trunk money), as others have said, the economy and the dealers didn't order anymore than they had to.
If you want P31 or LSD forget it, I ordered my 2011 that is due to arrive in late Aug with everything I wanted, because there was nothing around me (east coast)
Not great savings on an ordered car, but I plan to keep the car for a long time so a few grand here or there I can live with a little hosing--and believe me I like getting a deal as much as the next guy!

If you don't care about the option list, there's plenty to choose from and I would reccomend shopping around because some of these things have been sitting a while!!!

In Canada, the dealers are not even giving big discount on the remaining C63 at this time 'cuz there isn't many left... plus I'm not even sure if we had incentives last year? I had to order my white 2010 straight from Germany with the options I wanted... picking it up tomorrow. *woot*woot*
