Your Mercedes-Benz*C63 AMG 6.3 uses an ECU which has 'flash' memory. The flash EPROM inside the ECU is a hybrid and cannot be modified via a replacement part. Powerchip can 'flash' program the EPROM device by interfacing with the computer's wiring connector plugs to reprogram the chip that contains the engine's fuel delivery, ignition timing and throttle response settings. The ECU will need to be removed from the vehicle and sent via overnight courier to Powerchip. We have full photo ECU removal instructions to assist you and we will contact you after the order is made to organise the shipping information and other details.

In standard form, the C63 AMG 6.3 produces 605*hp and 320*lb.-ft.

Powerchip has a range of chips to suit your car, which can increase it's power to 683*hp, and it's torque to 361*lb.-ft.

The price of the Powerchip is USD*$990.00.

In order for us to give you specific power improvements and pricing information, please continue on to the next page. By providing your email address, we will email you a comprehensive ten page datasheet specific to your car.

I will be using a powerchip in my car in a few weeks.

you gain 50kw / 66hp at the rear wheels, mostly between 4500 to redline.

320 lb-ft is way less than stock engine output(443 lb-ft)! Is it wrong or sacrifice torgue for more power?

Those figures are for a car listed as the 'C63 AMG 6.3'
Then they also have a 'C63 W204'.. which has the correct figures. 451 hp, 443 tq.

I don't understand why they have 2 with 2 different sets of figures..?

.
In either case, the $900 range sounds fair. We have just been gouged as early adopters.

Not too long ago I talked to Brad at evosport which basically uses the powerchip tune and works with powerchip very closely about this price issue. He told me that the website needed to be updated and cc'ed the same email to powerchip. Apparently they don't care enough about it to update the info.
Point is that all that info was placed there a long time ago and was never updated. Information from evosport site is more accurate and relevant.

That's too bad, the price of getting an early tune i guess....shouldve waited. Same thing happened with the original iphones.

The only product that I think it's essential to get in early on is women.

Okay, that and certain IPOs.

Well, the problem of being an early adopter is a lack of refinement that comes with use.

But it's best if you are the only driver responsible for breaking her in, resulting in the much-desired refinement that you speak of.

From the Powerchip site if you choose the C63 (2010 in my case)

"In standard form, the C63 AMG 6.3 produces 605 hp and 320 lb.-ft.
Powerchip has a range of chips to suit your car, which can increase it's power to 683 hp, and it's torque to 361 lb.-ft."

That's great accuracy! LOL
