lugs...

question about lugs...i should be seeing a new set of wheels somewhere in the near future and was wondering what you guys normally use...

ive been informed that their is a great variety, from aluminum or steel, to locking/non-locking, long/short...

i havent tracked my car, and though i'd like to, i dont see myself doing it all the time regardless - i think that would make a difference in lug type but im not quite sure, obviously

im just looking for something thats gonna work - i dont need a ridiculous set but something mid-ranged would be more than enough

input?
thank you!

I'm using the Gorilla Automotive 17018SD-20 - Small Diameter Lug Bolt Kit
  • Thread Size: 14mm x 1.50 RH
  • Lug Bolt Seat Style: Conical seat
  • Lug Bolt Head Style: Tuner standard
  • Lug Bolt Material: Steel
  • Lug Bolt Finish: Chrome
  • Quantity: Sold as a set of 20.
  • Lug Bolt Thread Length (in): 1.000 in.
  • Wrench Size Required (in): 3/4 and 13/16 in
No issues with my Forgestar wheels. Currently torqued to 96 ft/lbs.

Like most aftermarket wheels, you should't run the OEM ball-seat bolts, you need cone-seat. Verify compatibility before you buy!
