Front engine weather stripping falling off?
The black plastic piece that connects to the front grille and air intake ducts with the thin strip of rubber weather stripping is just tearing off. You think this is covered by the warranty? I'll post pics in a bit.

It should be. My SA was great in getting things taken care of. I even complained about the front leather seats back when I had my ML and he got the MBUSA rep to approve it.

It's funny, i just "repaired" mine this weekend.
It is easy to remove the upper part of the grill (6 x hex screws)...I took it off and reseated the stripping...it is flush again...not sure why it came lose on the right, but while washing, noticed it sticking out more on the right than the left. EASY fix.

Do you mean the plastic component that sits right above the radiator that has a piece of rubber about 6 inches long or so on each side? If so, I just had mine replaced today under warranty. Just not an item designed to last very long IMHO.

^^good point, I thought he was talking about the piece that is on the upper plastic grille piece, that lifts when you lift the hood (and is attached to the underside of the hood). Sounds like he may be talking about the strips that are inside the engine bay before the intakes.

mine is doing the EXACT same thing! i applied a little super glue to it but it isnt a very sturdy set up. i hate to take it in for something so minor that will probably do again in a year...
