How long do you plan to keep your C63
So, picked mine up in April this year, don't really plan to have it for longer than 2 years.
How about you guys? How long do you keep cars for?

I love the NA 6.3. About the only thing I would consider trading it up for would be a dual clutch auto. Otherwise, I'll likely keep the car for many years, while working on it here and there. I don't miss the turbo lag and whine from my STi, and this V-8 sounds ridiculous, can't wait to hear when I get some headers.

Mine is 16 months old and only has 6700 miles on it. If it remains trouble-free,I'll hold on to it. Problem is I have a very short attention span when it comes to cars. Who knows.

Another question, would you buy another MB?
I really want a Gallardo, but can't really DD that, so I would buy another MB as a daily.

I think the C63 will go the way of the 300SEL 6.3 and the 124 500E as some of the Mercedes Milestone Sedans. I will probably keep this car or a better example in my garage for good.

One of my main reasons for buying this car was because of the huge engine. I thought that in 10 years time there won't be much in the way of big displacement gas guzzlers, so I wanted to own one before it was too late. I want to tell my grand kids (in 50-60 years time), about the huge engines I used to drive "back in the day" haha.
Another question, would you buy another MB?

I was sitting at Chipotle the other day and saw a service employee of the local Honda dealer walk by it with a colleague and the guy shook his head and said to his friend... "see that car? that car is a beast." And you know what, he's right. It's the most exotic car I've ever owned and I anticipate enjoying it for a while longer than most of my cars. I bought it right (18 months old, 9K miles, CPO and about $16K or so under MSRP) so I should be able to get out after 3 years and be in a good position to get something else that's a kick to drive.
I'm not loaded like some of you guys and I can't just go from one exotic to another on a whim. Just doing alright and living the coastal So Cal dream. It's expensive around here.

Will probably keep this one in the family a long time. I've owned a number of performance cars like Vipers and a few other American muscle and this is my overall favorite. This was bought as my DD because my company is German owned and we have visitors frequently. Been good to have as a DD and then we began to modify it just playing around. As some of you have stated its a monster and gets a lot of attention at the track and car shows. First night at the track in Gainesville Florida we ran 12.2 bone stock and thats fast in a four door. When is the last time any of us owned a four door sedan that now runs low 11's, willl run over 180mph in the standing mile, road race along side of the porsches and other track cars, makes over 20mpg on the highway, and you can take the wife to dinner in and carry on a conversation? Its a phenomenom if you ask me. With just a few more mods it will run 10's in the 1/4 mile and make over 200mph in the mile. Its an awesome car and I plan to keep it a long time unless someone wants it more than I do someday.
