LSD

Was wondering how important the LSD is, as none of the 2010s the dealer says are available have it? Is it worth a few months wait to have it on a 2011? Thanks for any help!

You do have the option of adding an aftermarket LSD down the road if you feel it is needed. if you get a really good deal on a 2010 I would not turn it down because of the lack of a LSD.

Consider how you will be using the car as well. Will you need traction in the winter on slippery surfaces, doing a lot of track days or drag racing. If so then maybe a LSD will be more important to your enjoyment of the car.

Best of luck with the purchase and enjoy the car when you get it.

Since you're this close to 2011, I'd just wait...lsd or not. Would be better to get the latest MY. That is unless you get a really good deal on a 2010 to avoid some of the depreciation.

This is a question i battled with myself when i purchased my car. To be honest i would have loved the lsd but for an extra $6000 it was just not worth the extra cost for the amount of time i would benefit from it. Plus the car i bought i drove out of the show room the next day without the four month wait for the lsd, bonus.

You are the only one who can answer your question. Don't you like having a LSD?
Lets look at it this way...If your interested in a C63 then you must be a driving enthusiast? If your a driving enthusiast you must crave putting a car sideways and drifting, or even just swinging the *** out in corners? Further, dont you also get extremely frustrated when accelerating hard after turning a 90 degree corner and the inside rear wheel lights up and you dont go anywhere?
This car with no LSD would be a MAJOR buzz kill! And AMG are tools for not putting in LSD as standard. Just my opinion...

I don't know if I would really notice a difference day-to-day.
