just curious, i know you plan on removing your 2nd cats as well, but why did you remove the resonator first? from what i've seen most people leave the resonator in and take the 2nd cats out

Resonator was easy. 2nd cats, I have to replace with X pipe. More labor, and time. I just wanted to see the sound improvement. Next up is 2nd cats replaced with x pipe, and all new SS piping from downpipes back.

I doubt theres anything to be gained from replacing the resonator with straight pipes. The res is a straight through design. Think the gains are when you replace the 2nd cats with an X-Pipe.
