oh, that's called the "tire-life-extender button"
I hear it still needs a little work, but at least you can drive the car more than once before you need to replace the rear rubber!!

FBTO, coming from the ISF, what are the pro's and con's compairing the two cars? I test drove the ISF before I bought my C63 and found the 8 speed trans to be extremely annoying.

Actually, I think the tranny on the F trumps the C. When cruising, it runs up to 8th gear to be fuel efficient. When on the track, run in manual and never get past 6th gear. The the speed of the changes blows the C away.

The engine management cuts down the power when the rear wheels spin beyond a pre-programmed amount. The difference with ESP on and ESP sport mode, from what I've witnessed driving about in the different modes, is the noticeably bigger threshold before the system intervenes. That said even the ESP on give you more slip and slide than on other non AMG MBs.
With ESP Sport you can get more wheelspin (I think I once held up to 3,000rpm for about 100 meters with the wheels spinning all the way on some wet/dirty tarmac). You also get a few degrees of sideways action before it curbs the power to rein things in.
Not a good idea to put ESP in sport or off if you are overtaking on a narrow road with a curb near by.
With ESP off, you had better have luck on your side if you mess up though in this scenario the system only intervenes if you hit the brakes. Don't try this in the wet unless you're on a track. The plus side is you have full HP and torque at your disposal.
I drive with ESP on most of the time and in sport on a wide open road. I'm not up to scaring or killing myself with ESP off, so that is left for burnout or closed roads with lots of space to mess up and survive.

Is the american-SPEC ESP diffrent from the German one? I once heard something about that, but I'm not sure even if it was about the C63! haha!

When I had a W211 E55, I asked my service advisor why they used a yellow triangle. I always felt that a picture of the Michelin Man with $$ symbols all around him would be more appropriate.

The first thing I do when my car warms up is go into manual mode and sport ESP. I think the sport esp balance is perfect. I've tracked the car and ESP will only come on if you're getting some pretty serious sideways action, usually accelerating out of a tight corner.
When I get an LSD I'll try the esp off on the track (tried it in the street) but be prepared from some serious drifting.

Thank you for explaining clearly what is the ESP Sport mode mean.....
i have been searching for a explanation online but they only say technical explanation
but not clear enough explanation for real life driving experience
so now i understand what it mean....after reading what you wrote
i better stay on ESP On mode
because i do alot of driving on the road and many time i will test my engine
in M or S or N gear mode
so you mean if i turn on ESP Sport mode it will not be safe
so i better stay on ESP on mode
Thanks Buddy....!!
