Kleeman TBs

Anyone performed a dyno before and after Kleeman Tbs installed. Seems like months since they were released and still no data.

Interested in purchasing if the claims of 30hp can be verified.

Thanks

I'm thinking these are best used in conjunction with LT headers??

I hope not, i haven't put headers on my car. I dont want it to get too loud plus it will mean i need to junk my Brabus tune and get a new one optimised for LT headers. TBs at <$4k yielding 30hp gain is, or me at least, a better deal than headers yielding 40-50hp at >$6-7k. I noticed in a past post that Cory at Kleeman says TBs dont need a specific ECU tune to accomodate them. I believe he said in one of his posts that the car's ECU could handle the airflow +/- 25% before a retune was required. I have hiflow cats and a freer flowing exhaust which may mitigate ipact of not having LT headers??

Sorry guys, Just have been busy at work, So yes I do have the Kleeman TB's installed. As you guys know I have done just about all there is to do to a 63, mod wise, so the TB's for me was a must. I will be doing a few dyno runs soon and with all the dyno time I have I feel I'll have enough data to report back. As for what I think about the mod, well I can say for sure that the yellow triangle comes on a whole lot more The shifting feels harder and the response of the car is much quicker. The car really seems to pull much harder. I drive the car like I just got a new car, remember the first few days of driving the AMG when you first biught it? Well, that's how it feels after the install .. If I had the choice to do it again, I would. It is like the icing on the cake. More hp? but car feels and pulls much better. I'll give full report after dyno runs in about a week or two.. I hope this helps
DO IT!
