Why don’t you tr to rent or borrow a C class for a while and try it out? the rear seats should be the same regardless of model. I come from an E50 (210) and although not very tall think the rear seats will be adequate for a 2 hour drive. of course an Eclass or similar will offer more space but believe me nothing comes close to the excitement of a C63, and is a very liveable DD.
