All signed up, anyone else coming with a little "c"?? ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I find it interesting that in the registration it lists many makes like BMW, Porsche, etc.... but no Mercedes. We have to type it in under "other". Boy are they in for a rude awakening. If nothing else they will know we were there because of all the noise. HA! HA!

Excuse the newbie question but I have never been to a track in the US (only did drifting courses in France and one day at Lemans on RS4 and R8).
The price is very reasonable but I wonder if a stock car can handle a hot day like this. I do not want to be caught with a $5K bills for brakes and rotors.
More information and feedback would be greatly appreciated and helpful.
Thanks.

Two and half weeks away. Anyone else care to join us? It would be worth the price of admission just to see Dad's rip up the track with the R888's he had mounted today!

My tires are bald and I am awaiting my new rear tires.
I am not sure I can make it plus I still did not get a definite response whether you guys think I am in for a 5K brake job after a hot day at Sebring. I just can't afford that right now...

How on earth do you figure a brake job will be 5k? Your rotors will be fine, if anything you will need new pads, and if anything my bet would be only the front, which is not that expensive.

Do not consider tracking the car on bald tires or you may have an encounter with an immovable object that would make a brake job look like chump change.
That said, I hope things work out and maybe we will see you there. If you don't want to track the car it will be a fun day for spectating also. Keith and I are only there on Saturday.

I agree that I need new tires to go on the track. I am awaiting my pilot A/S+ and hope to get them before the event.
It appears everyone feels like I should be fine regarding the brakes and it is up to me.
Since I have no experience tracking in the US. What is required for me to get on the track in Sebring? Do I need to call them and fill out some paperwork ahead of time.
Excuse the newbie question.
