Trunk Money and Lease Question

In the BMW world, it was possible to apply trunk money to a lease as a cap reduction.

Does anyone know if that's possible with the new C63 trunk money?

Hello banker norm, I am new here but my guess is yes. I received a quote from a dealer and the trunk money was applied to both quotes, finance and lease. I am going to a dealer tomorrow, I will ask and let you know.

Yes
Trunk money can absolutely be applied to a lease in the sense that your lease will be based upon your new final purchase price w/trunk money, IE you negotiate $55k, your payments are based on $55k.

I was hoping that the 10k would not apply to the car's price, but rather be used as a capital cost reduction, thus making the payments REALLY cheap.

I did this with an M Coupe. My payment on a 24 month lease was only $600.

Banker, I am not familiar with all terms used when leasing a car, but I asked the sales person last night if the trunk money applies to leases, his answer was yes, finance or lease. As rory breaker said, your lease will be based upon your new final purchase price with the trunk money.
