Rays Wheels for C63

Finally Rays made a wheel for C63.

VR G2

Front: 8.5 x 19inch 45:
Rear: 9.5 X 19inch 50:

Color will be Black or Silver

When I had M3 CSL I had TE37 and really love the wheels so I might think on getting this soon. So what you guys think? For sure this off set will work? What size tire should it work?

If you cant find them in US or in your country but want them please let me know I can buy it and send it over to you.

Thanks

Nice find. Most important for me is the weight.

Do you have the weight of these rims?

Front: about 9.3kg

Rear: about 9.5kg

So it is light wheel. And they said very strong also.

Yup that offset would be nearly perfect. I still wouldn't go wider than a 265 in the rear. While I'm sure some 275s would fit, I just wouldn't risk it.

They go for a little over $900.00 a piece, they will clear your brakes and they are extremely lightweight just like the TE37's.

Heres a picture of some TE37's that I just put on my 211, a lot of people claimed that they wouldn't fit right etc. but here they are on the car. These are 20".

If you are interested in a lightweight wheel that is extremely strong than you have to consider Rays Engineering, they do make some of the best product in the world right now. Ray's has just been announced as the factory supplier to the new Porsche GT3R (Cup car), so Porsche obviously considers them the premiere supplier right now. My 20" TE37's weighed just under 20lbs. and that is unheard of.

I am been quoted $5,500 USD for set here in Europe. Add in VAT tax and comes out $6,500. The dealer here who carries many brands also confirms that they are A+ wheels. Any sensor issues or are they compat?

You can save about $2000.00 buying them in the US. I would think that they can be shipped to Prague for less than $400.00. That's a big savings. If you are looking for the best wheel, one that is the lightest and the strongest than this is a brand that you have to consider first.

They also make the VR.G2 in 18x8.5/18x9.0 that will fit.

James@ACGSD had the best price on these when I was looking a few months ago.

Rays are fantastic wheels (Volks and Gram Lites.) Well known but kinda difficult to find. The USA wholesaler is Mackin in Santa Fe Springs CA.

Mercedes C63
I ran CE28N's on my E46 M3 and loved them. Super lightweight, well built, and strong. Was hesitant putting "JDM" on a German car but the M3 lends itself to the race mods so I went with it.

Would probably pass on the styling for a C63 though...but that's just my opinion.

Here is price in Japan but this is retail price so you should able to get discount from this price for sure.

Front: 79,800 yen ($907 USD)
Rear: 81,900 yen ($931 USD)

So set will be $3675 USD

Plus you need to ad 5% tax and shipping to your country (This I dont know). So it should be cheap to buy it here and ship it so if you are intrested please let me know. Price depends on the rate of YEN to Dollar.

Oh my God. These are my favorite wheels and I've had my eye on them for the longest time. Now that they make them in C63 fitment it might be impossible for me to pass them up.

I kinda agree. I like Rays a lot but think they are best on older 911s (up to 993s) and E36s, E46s, B5s, B6s, etc..

Not sure they're the right wheel for a MB.

Peter at ACGSD looked into these for me. The fronts are available now but the primary distributor does not have the rears with +50 in stock in US. He is going to check with them and RAYS and see if they can get some for US market. If there is more demand it might be worth pulling a group-buy together.

I can the rear in Japan for sure very fast. I posted the retail price so I should get it cheaper than that if you need it just PM me. Plus maybe I can get a better deal if its a group buy.

I would happy to help anyone get a set of Volks for there car. The Advan AVS F15 wheel looks really good on a C63 too. I will come up with a picture and pricing for this wheel as well. We have quite a few ordered for our inventory because it looked so damn good on the car.
