Cool vid. Personally I'd choose dark gray matte vinyl but white looks great too.

Hi, it's only temporary, basically just a cloth to cover the seats during the whole process .

GreenBelt Makati! I stayed at Reniassance across the street when I visited a few years back.

Wow a GT3 and C63 in Manila...not a lot of those around!

Wow, gorgeous!! Great video and song choice, as well.

I'd love to know how well this is standing up to everyday hazards to paint. And how easy it has been to maintain.

Damn, I figured $2-3K, but $4K is just . For that coin, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with it, unless I knew it would be very durable, easy to maintain and clean stuff like bird poop off of, and easy to match with the rest of the car, if you had to replace one damaged vinyl panel.

- Thanks bro. I've had the wrap for 5 months and so far I'm very happy with it. It does attract a lot of attention, but doesn't scream for one. The main objective apparently is for paint protection, and aesthetics come second, and my front bumper sustained a lot of stone chips, but the damage was only vynil deep and the paint was protected. I had the front bumper replaced for a relatively small amount. Downside would be the obvious: it picks up dirt and grime like a magnet because of the matte finish, and I noticed that the newly installed bumper vinyl doesn't exaclty match the rest of the car, since the ultra-white finish has faded. But overall, I'm quite pleased with the vinyl wrap, and I can't wait to change color in a few months, perhaps matte grey or anthracite.

Very cool man, thanks. It looks absolutely stunning.

Sadly, what you just described about its upkeep, might be a definitive reason as to why I probably won't go with it in the future. I can imagine that the dirt trapping would drive me nuts, not to mention potential staining. The color mismatching thing also sounds like it could be a nightmare (although, maybe it'll fade enough in due time, to match?).

I just started doing a lot of Highway driving with my car, and the f****ng rock chips are starting to very subtly show up (you can't see them unless you really get up close, and scan the bumper in the light).

I was thinking, if I decided to keep the car for longer than my Lease, I'd just wrap it in White, so I wouldn't have to worry about any tiny chips that would drive me nuts. But now, looks like that plan might not be so smart for someone like me.

2011 Ultima GTR
This C63 is for sale currently in Australia.

Black exterior + red interior. I really like it. There were a few more leather options when they sold the "Edition 63" C63's here. Like red, sahara beige etc.

Yup. Based in Manila. I see your car often in Facebook since we have many common friends. Love what you did with your car. I have a black C63 also, was thinking of wrapping it semi matte black as well.

Another question about the matte white:

I've heard if you rub the matte a lot (cleaning, getting stains out, etc.) it will start to shine (ruin the matte finish). Does this only apply with matte paints, or matte wraps as well?

Seems that would make maintenance an added PITA as well.

.Hi, I've had my car cleaned and scrubbed even, no shine. The matte quality is preserved, at least for a few months now.
