I've driven about 900 miles in about 4-5 days since i picked it up from the dealership 600 miles away. I've been driving conservative. Do you guys think its about time i can let her rip a little? or just wait longer lmk thx

I had my car on the dyno with 180 miles on the odometer.
Currently 2900 miles and the car runs like a champ.

When the car is fairly new you should do some progressively harder pulls (4.5K RPM, 5.5K, 6K) on a fully warmed up motor to get the rings to seat properly.
Although it is probably too late, I would do that now and build up to going fully WOT.

I took my car to 5.5K Rpm, then 6K after fully warming up about a dozen times in the first 500 miles so the rings should have sealed properly w/ out damaging the drivetrain.

Nobody ever said anything about a break-in period when i got my C63.
I tough the engine had been tested and pre-breaked-in.
So I was hitting the rev limiter 2 hours later.
I read somewhere that the C63 engine is tested for a few hours at redline.
these engine can take an amazing amout of heavy driving especially with the stock 450 hp detuned setup.

No window sticker? It is more to protect the driveline. Going hard early if properly warmed up better seals your rings.
I am pretty sure that you are just fine in any event.

like someone else stated, you have a warranty for a reason. i think 1000 miles is a long time to wait (not in your case since you have done it in a week) before opening up a car.

Well.... Im waiting on my contact to get back to me on Aug savings. Im pretty much writing that off. We wont see the savings we did last year so it wont be worth getting into a new C63.
My first mod will be the OE tune from TTMotorsports. Air Box mod. K&N filters. Charcoal delete. Stage 1 tune with stock, 93 and 100 octane settings.
I will most like get used to that for about 1 month and then get the LSD. I hear it makes a huge difference.
Beyond that I am looking into a Cat delete. Probably do this with the LSD. No LTH's. I want to preserve the C63 sound and not take away from the MB style. What I mean by that is I don't want to wake the neighbors for 3 to 4 blocks away every morning. It will turn my MB into an obnoxious machine rather than a fast MB. For 20HP loss ill just live without them.
Thats the plan!
