As we all know there are no after-market hood emblems available for our cars and does not seem that any of the usual sources will be making one anytime soon. So I have decided to make my own and see how it works out.

I will be buying a standard emblem holder from Schaetz and then taking the following trunk emblem have a local shop machine the emblem down to 57mm from the 61mm. Also depending on the thickness of the hood emblem, I may machine this down to make it thinner if needed for flush fit with hood.
