For 2010 Mercedes's (E, C, etc.)

Is scheduled maintenance only every 10k miles? My boy asked me this (he has a 2010 E350) and he has 4500 miles on his car and has still not recieved any service notifications, and wasnt sure what the deal was because he remembered getting more frequent notifications with his 07 E350. Any thoughts?

Also, how often do you think I should be getting my oil changed for my C63? Thanks guys.

The car has the service integrals programmed and will let you know when it is time to go in for service. Usually on the new cars, you'll keep alternating between service A and B until you rack up some miles. Then, you'll need a more extended service, such as, service C and D where they'll service more items.

Regarding the C63, you should change oil based on how hard you drive it and the conditions in which you live. If you don't drive it aggressively except once in a while, then wait until the 10,000 miles mark. But if you drive it aggressively and take it to the track a few times a year, then it maybe a good idea to change oil every 5,000 miles or so.

Thanks. I dont drive super aggressively nor do I track the car. I might split the baby and change oil around 7,000k miles just to be safe.
