the gtr is a monster, no surprise the c63 lost to it. But top end power the gtr seems to loose some power, probably because the gear ratios are so short. If you guys have noticed on a long distance run the M5/M6 seems to always creep up and over take the gtr. Either way the GTR and C63 are both monsters.

So he has a OEtune ok what are his bolt on's ?
I was watching the Vid of oetuned with str8 pipes racing the evo sport tune headers c63 and they were neck to neck almost I also saw on a post someone saying that the oetune pulls harder on top end.

The only reason I'm reaserching this is bc I have a friend that has a GTR with tune and mids that I have to race so I'm doing my homework 1st.

Stock to stock GTR hands down will wineverytime

My car with tune headers beats stock GTR's. Low mid and top end. But I have all my stuff from MHP so that's why I'm faster maybe.

I'm not sure on the bolt-ons, I just read through some posts and he was dyno tuned by OE tuning.

oh man, evo vids! Norb is going to have a heart attack LOL... The guy in the GTR almost lost it prior and should've just given up. As for the drag race, both are very moddable. AMS is doing big things with the GTR now days...

Read about the stunt the 21 year old driver of the gtr pulled on the insurance company. Real shady stuff.

c63's top end with MHP tune and MHP headers is realy no joke alot off ppl dont understand how powerfully a MHP C63 is. some one on this forum ran a mile in 172 MPH with just a TUNE from MHP and tune headers and heads ran 182-183 MPH a stock GTR is at 165-170MPH a z06 is around the same a ZR1 is at 178-180

Just took a ride in a friends GTR. WOW, the 0-60 is very fast! After 60-70, not so much that I think the C63 could keep up, but from a standstill, no way. However, the C63 sounds waaaay better! Now, I'm seriously considering a tune. :-)

C63 tuned will have a tough time keeping up with a stock GTR 0-60 and quartermile. The four wheel drive system with launch control on the Nissan is just amazing.
However, just like Mthis stated, with a tune and headers, the C63 will creep up and eaqual or beat the GTR on the top end. We were living proof at the Mile run in Miami.

Yes this was my car... The GTR Traps 125mph in the quarter mile and thats as fast and DADS C63AMG.... My car only has an OE tune and BMC filters... You cant expect it to beat a GTR that traps 125mph... I have only trapped 118.2... We are friends and we raced for fun...

That GTR is tuned with exhaust and downpipe...
