There has been a lot of questions on this site and concerns over ticking noises. Everyone worries and freaks out if they hear it and hope not to hear it. It has been discussed and people have differnt ideas as to what it is. So I for one, thank you Boris for updating the thread. You went through a great extent to get your car looked at and examined and your knowledge and findings will help me or any other members if they happen to have that ticking noise. At least we now know that its just not only 1). Low oil 2). Car warming up 3). Purge Valve, 4). Normal for this engine, 5). Or lifters, so now we are EDUCATED on another thing that could potentially go wrong.

After all, they already knew this and they are more concerned with HOW OLD THE THREAD IS. I guess thats why they are threads and they are saved in archive so we can dig them up, update them, or simply just learn from them.
