Check Tire Pressure Warning...
OK, so my second real failure in 10K miles. First was purge valve and check engine light.
This time, instrument display turns red and Check Tire Pressure warning comes on, along with the amber tire pressure indicator to the right of the instrument cluster. Tire pressures all perfect. I reset the system to adapt the current pressures as the new specs. Two minutes of driving later, same thing. Probably a bad sensor? Have those been common failures in these cars?

My car also gave me the "check tire pressure" message on key off as well, but now the entire display lights up a devilish red and the amber tire pressure icon comes on as well. Oh well, I have to go to the dealer to get some parts to complete my EuroConsole upgrade so maybe I can kill two birds with one stone.

i don't know about you guys but my check tires pressure/amber screen goes on everyday. I end up resting it, and it goes to normal... Tire pressure jumps all day long...

Had your tires changed recently? They may have damaged the TPMS modules.
Otherwise, mine has acted up in the past as well, but only once or twice and the tires did need air one time (5-10psi lower than normal). 12k miles now.

i got this red tire pressure warning the other day. ran over a nail and it punctured one of my 19s.... pissed since i had just gotten new tires last month. Red equals very low on tire pressure.

Put in the air pressure that you want while the tires are cold (usually 39psi if you only carry another passenger or two) after you have all the tires to the same pressure you need to reset the TPMS. This will reset the system to the new tire pressure, and no more warnings!

Once in a while I get the "Tire Pressure System Inoperative" message but it goes away on it's own after a few days. This happens a few times a year.

Have already done all that. Tires were never low to begin with but I reset the system 5-6 times to have it learn the current pressures, all to no avail. System always thinks tires are low. Red display within 2 miles of reset every time. Time for the dealer.
