SEAT COVERS C63

Fair enough for the front seats.
For the back seat, my english mastiff is going to slobber, shed, and muddy-paw all over them in about 30 seconds flat, so I definitely need something for the back seat even if it's super ugly...

If your car breaks down that dog could pull it back home.

I am getting close on a couple of cars, most like I will be driving home in a C63 tomorrow :-)
I am still worried about the seat issue though (especially back seat w /my dog)...
Anyone know if either of these options would be 'legit' and actually fit correctly?

Ever thought of just getting a bed sheet and throwing it back there? Or maybe a tarp? Or maybe just not transporting your dog in your nice car?
Just food for thought...

Yes, it is REALLY CRITICAL. I sold my 911S yesterday because I never got to take it out on the weekend trips (again, bc of the dog). I am weird, I want to take my dog everywhere with me in my C63
> Ever thought of just getting a bed sheet and throwing it back there? Or maybe a tarp?
Those options wouldn't stay put. As the dog moves around, it would fall / shift and then not cover the seat anymore.

Just came across this one. It's for the C Class, so I imagine it will fit:

If I try it out I will comment here with how it fits / works...

Not to be telling you what to do but IS IT REALLY CRITICAL THAT YOU TRANSPORT YOUR SLOBBERING POOCH IN THE BACK? I mean, do ya really need to? Do ya? You know it's not a pick up truck, right?

I paid for these Nappa Leather seats to sit in them. That said, if I have to put my daughter's child sit in the back, I usally put a thick cotton towel under it to stop it imprinting or scratching the Nappa Leather.
If my driver's seat wear out and I still have the car then I'll buy a new 'cover' (the current leather can be replaced separate of the cushions underneath it) from the dealer to replace the original one. Thereby re-newing it.

Well I just pulled the trigger on a 2009 C63 which is now sitting on my garage :-)
I ordered two back seat covers so I can check and see if either works better. One is a custom fit for 2009 C-class and the other is a cheapy from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MD58MA
... if I remember I will report back here if either of them works well... a C63 is too fun a car ride for me to leave my English mastiff at home !

There is no way I would put seat covers. It would eliminate the appeal. No need to unless you wear hard dirty, grease clothing all the time. Not for me.

Update for any future C63 owner who wants to put their huge dog in the back seat :-)
This back seat "hammock" cover is perfect AND quite cheap:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...uct/B000MD58MA
There are a lot of options available but I measured the seat width etc before ordering and this one fits perfectly. Additionally, if you have a black interior C63 and get the black hammock, it (from a distance) blends in, and even up close, doesn't look weird.
Definitely protected the back seats as we got our (currently 94 lb) mastiff in and out of the car to go to the vet and back.
BTW, I am not covering the front seats... agree that would just be silly :-)

For the record, I use my C63 as well to transport my monsters.. Fortunely, while we do have a fancy car.. when you put the back seats down, they are the same as every other vehicle trunk and the back of the rear seats.. that nylon like carpet stuff. Just throw a heavy blanket, or piece of thick canvas over the top edge of the upright seats to protect the leather areas that are still exposed when the seats are down and you will be fine...
Gus approves of your use of the C63 as a pet friendly vehicle (ps.. he is 180 pounds at the moment and cad steal stuff off the top of the fridge without any effort.. the little turd....)
And so does Louie (the white one)..

Agreed, but I still open my door, turn 90 degrees left like a robot, drop *** on seat, then lift legs and turn 90 degrees right. During that time, I have Mr. Roboto song to go with my entrance. Damn seat still have wrinkles though, damn you awesome bolsters that I love so much, damn you.

here is the mastiff (95# now) in the C63's backseat, along with the cheap (but good) hammock backseat cover I bought from Amazon (Referred to earlier in the thread)... sorry about cellphone pic quality.
That backseat cover perfectly protects the leather. We get a little dog hair in the interior but hey that's life as a dog owner. Have put 500 miles on the C63 in the past 2 weekends now with the new setup ... my old 997 was lucky to get that mileage every 90 days ... good bless sports sedans and the tuners who make them!

Has anybody purchased seat covers for the C63 and could recommend a particular company? Any photos would also be much appreciated.
Have noticed that jeans leave stains on the bolsters in rainy / humid weather, so trying to prevent that.
Thank you very much.
