I'm not that big into taking photos so the number of pictures of my car are very limited. My friend took a couple of these while I visited him down in Norfolk. So far the wheels are the only superficial modifications done. Hope you like it.

Hey guys! Sorry for the late update but here it is! My car has been at the workshop for 2 days now and it will be fully ready tomorrow. Trunk and hood have been installed with perfect fitment. I believe the hood was an easily swap and replace install but the trunk had to be carved out where all the locks and lights go in and swap of inside insulation material. It took some time but what helped was that the trunk was already pre cut where everything goes. Waiting for the bumper to be repainted for stone chips and i can get my baby tomorrow. Hope you guys enjoy the pics and any comments or questions are welcome. If you need any specific angles let me know and i'll take some more pics when i get the car.

Drive safe you guys!

Here you go benz... couldn't have done this project without you and Carl. Let me know if you want to see any specific pictures.

At the moment i'm not painting anything. I'm going to be playing with and cutting stickers or maybe even photoshopping of finding the right combination of colors (blacking out everything or going chrome or even red badges/emblems) so its gonna be a while till i decide on everything!

Yup stock hinges for both hood and trunk. The hood opens normally because of the front lock but when closing you do need to apply some force due to lighter weight. The trunk does open up quickly so i have to be careful and cushion it upwards.

Looks great! Congrats. I know for sure that when I get my hood that I am going to look for and install a different hood emblem vs. the OEM tri-star. If need be I will have one custom made as there are no options out there in 57mm, but I think a AMG emblem done in alloy with CF innerlay would look sweet with hood.

Congrats again, looking great. What's next on the mod list?

Dave

I've already ordered a cf innerlay hood emblem from ebay and other badges and will be testing different options until i find out which looks best on the trunk (red painted, matt black, or cf badges). I've already blacked out the window, grill and trunk chrome in matt.

The car has the MHP ecu and pulls like a train. Thanks Andy!. Up next is waiting for my MHP longtubes and mids to arrive home.

Let me know if any of the hood emblems work or not. Most of what is on eBay is 44mm in sizing and doesn't look good IMHO when installed. If you found a 57mm version let me know as I and other have been looking for ages for this.

Did you go catless on the LTH?

Ok, thanks. I think you will find they are too small as I have a whole collection of them collecting dust.

Love those MHP LTHs - mine should have shipped out Thursday. Post a video once you get installed as I am worried about sound level on cold-start and WOT as I went catless.
