Matt, I am going with double solution here.

1. I have ordered the black tinted lights here https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ke-lights.html and will see if they are too dark. I hope not, but have to error on side of safety vs. looks. If they don't work, then more stuff to add to the eventual eBay C63 garage sale as my pile of OEM stuff is using up too much space

2. I also bought the films here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT Installed pics attached as well. I need to realign right light as film is slighty off pattern on OEM outline. I have also need to install the attached headlight tint covers from Lamin-X. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

Are you able to do some improvements to make brake light stronger than stock?

Perhaps. I'm talking to the engineer about the issue and he said he'd get back to me.

Mike, thanks for update. If you can get them brighter I am back in. Appreciate your honesty in all this. BTW, installed the 5000 & 8000...they look great and no error messages

I'm with Matt on this mod if the brightness issue doesn't change (you can drop me). But, if you're able to get them to excel over the OEMs under braking, then I would like to stay in.

Yeah, honestly, I wouldn't put my stamp of approval on them for the exact reason you guys are bringing up. Don't want to push products just for sake of pushing products.

again, i am with everyone and will wait for an improvement which i am sure you will bring Michael, Can't wait till the refined product comes out!

Engineer is going to see if he can come up with a better design and get back to me this week. Bottom line....if I'm not happy with it from an enthusiast standpoint, I'm not going to carry it.

Any of you guys think 3000k foglights would look nice on a C63? Or even the headlights? It would give it more of an endurance car race look.
