Troubleshooting: Car goes into phone mood as soon as bluetooth on phone is turned on

Anyone have this issue? For example, when my phone connects to bluetooth, and then I turn my car on, all of the music sounds shut off and the car acts as though I am making a phone call (and even says "placing unknown call" in the phone setting). This just started happening after i picked my car up from service (but it was being serviced for brakes, rattling noise and rear diff oil change) so I dont know why its having this issue. My service advisor, who is cool as ****, is out of town as of yesterday so I wont be able to talk to him till next week. Any ideas?

Yes
This happens to me intermittently. It just seems to go away by itself.

I'll get in, the phone connects to bluetooth, and the music goes off as if Im making a call but Im not. Disconnect bluetooth, back to normal.
