Killed my NT-05's
I decided to finish off my NT-05's

Replaced them with 555's

They had nice grip for a short time... Then they became real real real noisy and grip went away!!!

About 2500 I drive aggressive. Went to the drag strip with them one night and made about 5 passes or so...

The real issue is the noise.... they are loud!

How loud is it? Much louder(>1.5 times) than OEM P-zero?

Dont worry the 555 will get like that after a while also .. mine has less then 15k on them and sounded like airplane on the highway !

That sucks.. I also find them a bit soft... My car feels like its swaying easier... as if there is play in the steering wheel

What I like!
NT-05... agree, they are NOISY, stiff and a fairly heavy tire too. They got noisy very fast; it didn't take much wear before mine started rumbling and droning. The stiff sidewall is nice for turn-in, but there's gotta be a better tire out there for grip on the street with less noise and weight.

Oh, my spousal unit claims the NT-05 tread stinks up the garage like no other. I'm definitely going with something else next time......
