Rons? Never heard of it. I used to hang at Krish's back in my muscle car days. I pretty much go to the OBI and to Captree now. Captree gets mad amounts of cars on a good sunday.

They get some cars for sure. Never go there though. Cant really do anything but look. If you race you get busted.
Its like running by DD on the turnpike or 231. Your just askin to get busted. Plus its quite unsafe. The beach is the best place to run. No one around.

Just to reiterate, the Z06 is a monster it will crush our C63. Look at stock for stock vs GTR (which also destroys our C63)

I don't think anyone is debating the fact that in a perfect race (start at the same time with both drivers knowing their cars), a stock C63 will lose every time against a stock Z06. We all know the specs (500hp vs 451 hp and about 700 pounds lighter). It is a no brainer.
However the real world is rarely that and if the C63 is just tuned and gets a jump, the outcome can be different.
Very few vettes at the mile run could outrun Dad's car at 182mph and even 2 ZR1 only did 179mph.
It is always fun to race the vettes on the streets because they do not see our cars as competition (4 door sedan) and after they see our tail pipes, it is most of the time too late for them to catch up.

Maybe the guy in the Z06 isn't a ******** who is going full throttle racing another ******** who thinks he is a racer, but rather he is just enjoying his car? Just because you're out and about having fun with your car doesn't mean everyone is dropping the max hammer on the throttle, keeping their a/c off and other little things to max their advantage.
It's not a race when only one guy is racing, rofl..

You guys are a riot....the C63 is a great car, excellent power for something so luxurious and daily drivable, but it is hardly a highway roll on king.

My last car was a C6 Z06(Purchased on March 2008 brand new) and I tested the car stock and with mods. Stock I ran 12.0@122 in Tucson at 3100ft. The C63 AMG stock ran 12.9@110.
There is no way in hell the C63 keeps up with a C6 Z06 under any circunstances. To make more realistic my topic just remember that my C63 weights 3940lbs with no spare tires, low on gas and floor mats removed while my C06 weighted in the same scale 3140lbs with low gas.
My C6 Z06 put down 457whp and 427lbs on a dynojet when it was stock. I am telling you that (pick one):
1) You were dreaming
2) You are on crack-meth
3) Your whiskey is good
4) the driver of the C6Z06 was toying with you
5) You are fabricating
If your C63 AMG is stock a C6 Z06 walks away from the C63. my .2c
